wut would i need to do to make the monster gt a basher?
wut are the week points and such? i like the way the mgt looks its one of the better looking trucks out there imho
so if i could id like to get one for bashing but it all depends on wut i would need to spend on it.
or is this truck only good for racing?

RPM A-arms front and rear
zip ties for bumpers
Titanium turnbuckles (or just keep a few extra front and rear when you go out bashing)
extra body mount posts
maybe an extra hub carrier or 2
some say engine mount, never had a problem myself

MGT is definitely one of the best bashers out there, you won't be disappointed, weakest parts in my opinion are the A-arms and the turnbuckles, everything else is pretty good.

Heres my list of broken parts for the MGT:

Pullstart(pulled too hard...oops)
Fuel Tank
Body Mount Posts


Thats it really, My upgrades include a 5 cell hump pack for the truck, AE aluminum MGT shock bodies/Shock caps, fuel filter, fuel tubing, wheels, and antenna tube.

Other then that I guess the body would be the first thing to go if you land on it as much as i do lol.

rpm arms are a good start
no truck can be really bullet proof but the MGT is a pretty good truck
i've never raced mine,just bash the snot out of it

so far this is what i've broken in a year:
rear shock tower
3 lower front arms
2 upper arms
lots of axle carriers
2 front bumpers

thats really about it
if you want more punch off the line get the FOC kit...of course no more reverse
put your battery on ch.4 of the reciever...makes the servos faster

i just recently bought the New Era roll bar, looks like a good sturdy bar, the axel carriers are the things that the a-arms thread onto right behind the tire, the axel comes out the middle of it.

you can use rpm ones for a maxx...rpm makes the adapters for them
