Juggernaut got some upgrading (Juggular Conversion)

1 Attachment(s)
Well I got tired of staring out my Stock Jugg so I decited to do a few upgrades.

I started off with the ESP Juggular Conversion that gets rid of all the Plastic chassis parts. I added some MSR4 shocks that will soon be upgraded to the MSR5s when they show up. The conversion came with a heavy duty tie rod set but was missing the studs so I couldn't put them together. I ended up having to pull the Super Duty out of the maxx because I forgot to pick up some connectors so I wasn't able to use the new EVX I had sittting around. The titans are just temporary untill I figure out what I want to do with this truck.

Here are some pics.

I dig the performance upgrade you get from those kits, but being a man***** for super scale looks (isn't that what we love Tamiya for?) I hate that when you put those LWB kits on their monster trucks, that suddenly the axles hang out below the bumpers of the body.

Still love the color of that body, though.

Hey thanks guys.

I haven't had much time to get this truck going yet. However, I did get all the side to side wobble out of the truck though.

I also ran the truck with the titans which had a nice amount of power. I also tried a set of 7 cell 3300s in it also which was pretty nuts. Sorta hard to handle with the aws in the truck right now.

Heres a pic of my new aluminum hubs. :) Finally get them in.

I agree with Richie that looks mega if you could tell us how much you have put into it and what is the base model and where do you get the bits from it would be much appreciated.

All the best

Gareth

Hey thanks guys.

Well first you have to pick up a Jugg 2 off ebay. They're a few up right now if you wanta take a look. Next big thing is the conversion. From there you have to decide on how much money you want to pay out for the little things.

Heres some sites to work with.

As for giving a dollar value.... enough :D

Makes me want to clean up my stock juggy and do some stuff to it. But the idea of starting, from scratch, for electronics is scary.

Just idle curiousity, what kind of run time do you get?

HArd to say since i haven't really had time to take it out for full runs. But I am guessing 10 - 15 mins.

That's not bad. Not bad at all. Who knows, maybe it'll become a summer project for me, assuming my nitro toy doesn't eat up all my time.

Buy a 2.

Juggernaut 1 was pulled from production, cause, if I recall, the axles were way underbuilt, something resolved in the second.

RE: Juggernaut got some upgrading (Juggular Conversion)

Ya definatly buy a Jugg 2. Or else you'll be paying another 100.00 just to upgrade.

You will pay anywere between 300 - 400 for a Jugg 2. Depends on the shape and if it has the stock body and stuff. They're a few on ebay right now.

O and Get one!! this forum needs more monster trucks instead of all the 1/8 stadium trucks that are on here now.

www.inetrc.com

Go their and click on "for sale". They've got two Juggs, one is $350, and the other is $380.

Once I finish my clod I think I might get a Jugg to work on, that or a TXT (probobly go with a TXT first cause I want to try out a cantilever setup other than my TLT).
