Can you use 40Mhz transmitter in Canada ?
 
I have seen many people selling JR SX3 40MHz in Ebay, can you use 40 Mhz or 27Mhz in n.America ? Thanks

Forget about the 27Mhz, I just found out there are only 6 channels avalible under this franquence, but can you use 40mhz in N.A ?

Yikes, you can't use the new 2.4 ghz Spektrum systems there! That's a bummer! I was thinking of going to a track in Medicine Hat... Now I have to re-think that!!!

I'm sure 2.4 gig is fine in canada...it's just so new to RC that this chart doesn't talk about it.

Are there 2.4/5.8 gig cordless phones up there? If so, that means it's OK for the public to use that spectrum, which I'm pretty sure means it's OK for RC.

Just guessing, of course. You should contact Nomadio and/or Horizon (Spektrum) and ask them directly!!

better tell the authorites Ive been using DSS for about 4 months, yes those systems are 100 % legal, lstracerX go to calgary instead the medacine hat track is great(just watch out for ty tessman if you dont want you azz handed to you) but the calgary track is soooo awsome WWW.rcgears.ca well your making the trip to alberta might as well check out some of are other great tracks(almost every small city has one)
Also 40mhz is not legal in canada, but sadly I used to use one, so did allot of others.
