Help plz. How do I remove connecting rod from piston?

on what? some companies use different ways of attaching them. if there's white rounded caps on the end of the wrist pin, just push it out, if there's a piece of wire in the shape of a G at the end of the wrist pin, grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull, then push the wrist pin out from the other side

that's all I've seen, but I've only had a handful of engines apart...
