DX3 help?
 

I upgraded to the Spektrum. I have read the booklet several times but still don't know how to set up the reverse. I can get it so when I push the A button forward i get it to shift but when I let go it goes back to the middle? but I dont want to hold the button one way or another to go.

From what I remember, the 3rd channel isn't designed like other radios in the DX3... I dont know if this is possible, but I think the only way you can get close to what you want is to set the neutral position for the 3rd channel all the way to one side so the truck is in FWD. Then, if you can get enough travel the other direction, you would only need to hold the button down for reverse.

That's the "rig" I had to do.

It works but I'm not really happy about it.

If someone knows of a better way I'd really like to use it.
