I thought it would be interresting to know the average age on here. And maybe even post how long you have been into this hobby.

50 here, been in the hobby for 40 years, been around it all 50 though. My dad was building rc planes before I was born.

just over 15.5. Got into R/C in 2001. Addicted since. Been in rehab a few times but keep coming back to it! :D

23 here. Started about a year ago with a Shockwave 36 nitro boat.
I love it, can't get enough.

21. been in the game 5 months. it all started with the hpi mt 2, now i'm getting a monster gt this friday, and more towards the end of the year. its........so.......a.....a.....addicting.

30 years old. I was into electric buggies when I was a kid/teenager but the lack of local support and other interests took me away from it. I just got back into it last year after some guys started having me make a few custom parts here and there. Now there is another shop and track in town and I'm hooked again.

40 this yr... started along time ago as a kid with a few flying uncles.. then women & rocknroll came along. so..... im looking forward to the next 20 yrs...lol

32. Officially started with this hobby when I bought the emaxx (and till now it's still my only R/C!) and joined this forum 2 and half years ago.

35 and started with a excellent beginner truck,The Nitro Evader St about 1 year ago.I had a nitro car when I was about 8 but the thing only did circles.It had a long string that you had to nail into the ground and start it up and let it rip until it ran out of gas or stalled.What fun it was..:D

Got a Revo 3.3 now and love it.

29 here.

Started with the electric Rustler, then a Nitro TC3.

Took a break then spend thousands on XMODS and building tracks at work(I'm a teacher and my students dig R/C Racing). Sponsored a club and had events at school.

Then I bought an E Maxx; OOOOH How fun!!!!!!!!
Now, back into nitor: I presently own a 3.3 Revo and 3.3 T Maxx. YIPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! !!!!!!!




RCs are definitely a natural high!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'll be 29 in 2 weeks, been in this hobby for about 2 years, i think.

yeah, isn't the niro evader a kick-ass truck? easy to work on, and even stock, fast as anything.

when i was a kid, i had a Super Lobo from Sears, then a Blackfoot.

I'm old enough to worry about the amount of money i spend on the hobby, but young enough to not let that stop me. That's 19. :D

Ya I really like it,I like it so much I got another 1 for my kid.Hes only 6 but I limit the throttle so it dont go so fast.As far as mine Im not sure how fast it goes but it seems like its smoking for a 1 speed tranny.
But compared to my new revo,all I have to say is.WOW

im in the same position (well im almost 19, another two months) but unfortunately i have a real car and gas prices blow! thats where everything is going. well that and college in the fall.

You think they're bad in the US?? I'm paying £1 a LITRE. So about £4 a GALLON = $6 (ish). Now that's expensive! [:@]
