Yes I am stupid!

I am new to Nitro also....

Just putting a fuel filter on my new Havoc......

Which line does it go on?

The one that goes from the top of the tank to the exhaust or the one that goes from bottom of the tank to the carb?

I think it is the one that goes to the carb but want to check first.

Yeah, the one to the carb. Ya want to filter the fuel, not the exhaust! :)

actually alot of people will put a filter in the exhaust line as well.

Why? Maybe you guys could answer me this, have you tried a boost bottle, my mgt loads up at idle some times. Would this help at all? thanks

Well, sure, but you gotta figure, anything in the exhaust has already been through the engine once anyway. ;)

mostly to catch any large pieces that MAY loosen over time like built up carbon to help keep the tank and thus the carb clean, mostly for just in cases.
not used a boost bottle personally, so not sure if it would help, if your loading up at idle it would to me depend on how long a little while is, but give the lsn a touch lean if you think you need it, but personnaly if your idleing over 15 seconds your *****footing around..lol

Yeah i know, i normally dont just stand their and watch it idle, but like sometimes when i want to go slow over rocks or something, it will seem to load up and die, Thanks for the info.
