I went to take off the pullstarter to replace it with another one. And I stripped one of the screws. What is the easiest way to get it out?

you have to get a small drill bit and drill a hole in the middle then get a bigger one and drill out more of it then a bigger one and so on untill its all drilled out and buy a new screw hope helps

or instead of goin through all that go to your local parts store or hardware store and ask for a set of easy outs for screws.. lol.. tap em into the stripped hole.. back it right out..you may have to drill a small hole in the middle of the screw head to get the easy out to grab but it will work just fine and it will retain the threads in your block

Couple more options. You could try to cut a slot in the head of the screw and use a flat blade screwdriver to remove it or drill the head of the screw with a drill bit that is slightly larger than the threaded part of the screw. This will cause the head to break off. You can then remove the rest of the pull start and hopefully get some pliers on the remaining part of the screw to remove it.
