Has anyone ever tried to JB weld the holes in their rims and add a few lbs. of air in them and if so , how did it work. I would think you would also need to silicone the tires to the rims. If nothing else this may give someone some ideas on it and it will be a different forum. LOL

Adding air to RC tires would be rather difficult. When I raced electrics back in 87' we would glue the tires to the wheels and in some cases trap air inside. As I got out of RC's (and into girls) foam inserts were just coming into existence. If you notice there are companies that make various foam liners, hard, medium, etc. Foam liners do a very good job of acting as a replacement for air.

OHHHH one last thing. For any kid who is going down the path I went down (getting out of RC and into girls), BEWARE! As expensive as RC hobbies are, they are still CHEAPER and in some cases give you less trouble than girls!!!!!!!!!!!! J/K!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, what every man should do at least once is get married, have a couple of kids, then see that hobbies are much cheaper. LOL. I put racing slicks on my T-MAXX cause I run on pavement alot, Talk about traction, it's great but my foam inserts bunched up and there is a flat spot in them. any way to keep the foam from bunching up from inside the wheels.Thanks Tony
