jerky t-maxx Help!!
 
just got a new t-maxx 2.5 , everytime I go to take off from a dead stop , it s really jerky once it gets going its OK ,Is this normal? my slipper cluck is tight ,any suggestions?

Perfectly normal. My T-Maxx did it all the time, unless you peg the gas right off the line that is ;). It's because there are two (three if you count the clutch bell and shoes) centrifigul clutches, and at low rpm, I guess it's hard for both of them to get enough RPM to engage at the same time, so it will stutter off the line until you get going at about 2-3MPH. If you put a reverse lock out kit, I hear it solves that problem (takes one of the clutches out). But, it isn't a bad problem, and it will never hurt anything. So if you like reverse, and can live with it clanking off the line, I say leave reverse in ;) Hope this helps.

Yes he is right its only trying to engage. If you give it alot of gas off the line then it shouldnt be jerkey maybe one jerk and thats all. My buggy is the same way =/
