SHOCK SET UP

I SAW A MAMMOTH ON A DIFFERENT SITE THAT HAD LIHE 4-5 INCHES OF GROUND CLEARENCE, DIDN'T GIVE ANY SPECS THOUGH, MY TRUCK SQUATS LIKE A GIRL, DO I NEED BETTER SHOCKS (THIER STOCK WITH STOCK SPRINGS) AND I THINK THEY HAVE 60 OIL IN THE REAR AND 40 OIL IN THE FRONT, MANUAL SAYS THAT STOCK IS 100, WOULD THIS HELP WITH BETTER SPRINGS OR DO I NEED TO UPGRADE.

you need to repostion your shocks. Put them in the highest mounting hole on your shock tower.

different mounting holes of the shocks can give you more ride height. preloading the springs will rise your height up. and stiffer springs might help as well.

springs are all the way compreesed. and the alluminum mammoth shock tower only has 1 place to mount shocks, do i need to modify.

nope just 1 on there also, would thicker oil and smaller valve holes help hold it up. trying to duplicate what my savage does, i can drop it from 4-5 feet high and it doesn't phase it, i drop the mammoth from 1 1/2 feet and it bottoms out.

RE: SHOCK SET UP

stiffer springs, thicker oil, and the smaller piston holes will help.
