This T-Maxx 2.5 belongs to my wife. She has recked this thing a few times. I keep having to fix it for her. She has no interest in maintaining or repairing, she says that is my job. :)

The is mostly stock. Has RPM A-Arms - Dynamite Fail Safe - CVEC Tuned Duel Rear exhaust.

The shocks are stock, but I lowered them. The A-Arms sit almost level. It gives the truck a lower center of gravity. She loves doing donuts in the parking lot. YES this does see the dirt as well. With the shocks lowered, she can cut the wheel at about 30MPh and do donuts all the way down the street without flipping the truck. :D ;) :p

She loves that..... We are going to buy some bike ramps from Toys-R-Us for her to jump in the back yard. She wants a home made track in our back yard, but doesn't want the cheesy wooden planks and stuff.

I want to see picks of other peoples T-Maxx.

How'd you lower it like that? I want to do that to mine, it's still set at the factory height and its center of gravity is so high it wants to roll in the turns. I'd like to lower it so it corners better.

This thing rocks. But remember with lowering center of gravity - you do not do as many wheelies. Can still do the big jumps and stuff. Corners great.

It can still flip - but not as often. My wife can not drive, so I had to do it for her.

Step 1> You take apart the shock and take out the 1 centimeter spacer, part number 3768 in the exploded view of the shock in the documentation for TMaxx.

Step 2> Cut 1/2 inch fuel line. You need to cut 8 of these. One for each shock. It is important to cut them all EXACT SAME length. You are going to slide these over the shaft if the shock, part number 2656 or 2656T in the manual. This will be put inside where the shock oil is. This will limit how far the shock can extend.

Step 3> Finish putting shocks back together, same way they were taken apart.

Step 4> Fill with shock oil and it is important to make sure all bubbles are worked out. I made a shock holder out of card board box top and let them set over night once I worked all bubbles out.

Important note: when shocks are put back together, make sure when you compress the shocks, there is no squeak noise. If you have squeacking there are still air bubbles inside.

Once it is back together that is it - I will upload some pics.

I have 2 TMaxx 2.5 - The one on the left is factory ride height and one on right is lowered. There are no spacers in either one. The one on left flips a lot. The lowered one can do donuts when already hit second gear.

The longer the fuel line the lower the truck will be. 1/2 inch will bring the A-Arms level. My wife loves it. She still gets wheelies, but not as many as before. :D ;) :) :p

Actualy(dont know if this is why he did it but) In snow or sand turning the rear stockers around like that, gives you alot better bite on those kind of terrains. I cut every other lug off my stockers and turned them around like that for the beach, makes for a killer rooster tail ;)

Oh ya just for your information, you dont need to cut fuel line, the trucks come with shock limiters in the spacers baggy.

My truck is the silver one :D
I put the tires like that on purpose, like adeoliver said, for better traction.
I didn't think about the positions ;)

Nice trucks guys :D

I cant resist(sp). Neither one of those are Tmaxx's, they are both Emaxx's (hence the thick black chassis)!! And that white you see is actualy SILVER. LOL
