:P Let's hope it still runs with that much wear, rofl.

On a more serious note, an MGT3.0 is probably the best fit to your needs. IT's got good ground clearance, reverse, highly durable, etc etc. A close second is an HPI MT2 and a CEN Magnum NX tied with it, but neither are anywhere near as good a basher as the MGT is. They lack the ground clearance, and neither have reverse. They'd both outhandle it out of the box, hands down, however :P

The aftershock will, after a fair amount of time, end up costing closer to 500 bucks. The trucks I've listed will run great right-out-of-the-box, and have decent engines and good durability.

hahaha, what the box it come in !
Seriously it'll get you a set of baja tyres, hahahaha LOL ! good ones, but LOL !

300 bucks you gotta get on E-Bay digger, nothin special in the MT basher ranks that fit that price new, but second hand, hey alot of people get lucky with second hand ones that other find to much hassle to use, but try not to buy of a track racer, the engine is likely flogged.

If not, l'll sell you my FROG for 300 !

I second the recommendation of the MGT3.0. I have one and it is way better than I expected. I am never satisfied with anything, so right away I got the New Era kit and installed a Big Block Picco .26 Outlaw. Way overpowers the truck. I thought the driveline would fail but it has held up. So...... from my experience, if you could be happy with the very nice .18 engine the truck comes with, the drive train and whole truck, except for the weak bumper bracketts, would be about bullet proof.

There are some very good parts on it that come directly from the Big MGT. The steering and brake servos are right off the big truck. The servo savers are the same. The three shoe clutch shoes are the same, the flywheel is almost the same. Very quality parts everywhere.

The dog bones are rather thin and I thought they would be the obvious weak link. They have never twisted or given any trouble holding up to the big block Picco, which has provided endless wheelies and constant drag races.

At least take a close look at the MMgt 3.0
