T-MAXX vs E-MAXX

Hi guys

I have a question about T-MAXX vs E-MAXX.
Now, Im in the market of either T-MAXX or E-MAXX.
Personally, I dont like gas powered RC because for me, it is messy, and noisy (I live in a crowded place, so I dont want to piss my neighbor, and I dont like the idea to go to specific place just to play my stuff).
So maybe I'm gonna buy the E-MAXX. What all of you guys think about this?

On the other hand, my friend at work will buy a T-MAXX soon, and I was thinking to get a T-MAXX too instead of E-MAXX, so I can race with him and his friends (they also have a T-MAXX). And since the price between those two (TMAXX and EMAXX) are not that much different, so I wanna get a good buy, since I only has one shot (Im married hehehe...)

Thanks for all of your opinion guys.

T-MAXX vs E-MAXX

Pros and cons of both

E-Maxx Pros-1)No engine tuning, 2) not noisy like a t-maxx 3)Not as messy as nitro

T-Maxx Pros-1) faster than an E-Maxx, ,2) Just gas and go in between runs

E-Maxx cons-1)Have to charge the batteries after about 7 minutes of running it., 2)Slower than T-Maxx

T-Maxx cons-1) Loud (if you consider this a con, I consider this a pro), 2)Have to break in the engine and tune the carb (and keep it tuned). 3) can get messy (nitro fuel).

I have a T-Maxx and would never go E-Maxx unless I didn't have a choice and had to run indoors.

The E-maxx is more powerful ive heard & has a lot more pulling power. I run my truck around neighbors, and they dont seem 2 care. Just ask them if the wuld mind a little noise, this way u can get a nitro truck, which is much better, & more fun.

the only power advantage the e-maxx has in its low-end torque, a quality of all electric motors. trust me, this torque is impressive, able to drag a hopeless t-maxx away(includin .21's) with ease in tug-o- war contests. however, I HATE batteries. they are so unbelievable %$#@ing annoying. The hours of charging, the 7 minute run-times, it just pisses me off. Unless they make Lithium Ion packs for the e-maxx, stick with nitro. I personally liek the noise (and would prefer more) and my neighbors dont mind. It all comes to whether or not you want to put up with batteries.

If you want to be able to run it anywhere and you live around a lot of people, the E-Maxx is probably the right choice for you. Yeah, dealing with having to charge the batteries all the time is a hassle, but unless you like tinkering a lot, maintaining nitros can be a huge pain in the butt too. I like tinkering with nitros so the required maintenance doesn't bother me. Just buy a bunch of batteries and this will give you more run time. People keep mentioning that the E-Maxx will drag the T-Maxx around. I fail to see how this info is useful in any way, unless someone plans to use their E-Maxx for towing. Battery powered or nitro powered, either have plenty of torque to do anything you're gonna want to do with an MT.

Go with the emaxx :) I absolutely loved mine, and when u get the write equipment for it, (meaning charging/batteries) It's great. Even if you just buy the maxx sport battery packs, you can get them alot cheaper paired together, get about 7 minute run times outta 2 2400 packs, and go about 28 mph. If you get 7 cell packs you will be doing the same amount of runtime because you have to match em, but go about 33 mph. Electric will be more expensive in the long run.... but it will totally be worth it also during that run. The batteries / motors will outlast the 2.5, and the slower speed (still very fast though offroad) will be enough. YOu won't break an emaxx near as much as a tmaxx. Trust me :D any more Q's about emaxx and ill tell ya, its my fav rc car ive ever owned.
