Problems with my big T

I know it will be near impossible to get someones full help on setting problems but I may be looking at something more than a setting. First off my exp with RCs:

I own the following:

Losi XXNT RTR
TMAXX
EMAXX

The Losi was my first truck. I followed all the break in procedures and the Losi never fails me. Infact I drove it for the first time in 6 months the other weekend and I dropped fuel in it and it started first pull. Have put around 12 tanks through it the last week. Love my Losi.

Anyways the EMAXX gives me no probs except run time which I am making the switch to 3300 NIMH packs instead of the 2400 NICAD I was using.

The only truck I am having problems with is the TMAXX. I followed the break in procedure to the letter. That all went okay. I drove about 3 tanks afterward and that went fine. Now I can not start the thing to save my life. Returned all settings to factory - Changed plug ect ect. I got some fuel coming out muffler pipe when trying to start. This I see as normal cause my Losi does it. The thing that kinda worries me is there is fuel coming out the middle of the muffler in the break in it since this looks like a two piece pipe. I am not sure this is normal or not. One thing is this is not a new TMAXX with the new eng. Think a 2.5 or something? This is about 7 months old.

Need some suggestions here. I am at a loss to get this going. I so enjoyed this truck and really dont wanna give up on it.

you aren't running fuel you've had stored for a while are you? that could make a difference. take your glow plug out and attach ignitor to make sure it's lighting up for you. you may want to take a blow dryer and warm up the motor before you try starting to help the glow plug ignite the fuel a little better.

Problems with my big T

The fuel I have has been stored for about a year. I did not even think about the fuel. The Losi runs off it fine that is why I did not think of it. But at this point I am at a loss and will go ahead and get a small bottle just to test.

Thanks

Any other ideas from anyone?

another thing about fuel, make sure you don't store it on concrete. the concrete will actually sap the nitro out of it. The 2.5 maxx engine is a lot bigger bore than your losi and i'm sure needs the fuel to ignite a bit better to run. the losi probably runs a bit smoother being a smaller engine on top of the fact you are probably running different glow plugs as well.
