Texas Bashers
I am looking for bashers in the Ft. Hood area. There are plenty of nice spots for bashing on base. I've been asking around post, but haven't found any bashers... oddly enough. If you're in the Ft. Hood area and are into RC or are thinking about getting into it, post here.
Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my nitro in yet, but have an E-Maxx that I'm using until the Savage XL arrives (to be ordered July 2nd.) Slowly, I'll be modding the Savage XL; not exactly sure which mod I'll be applying first, but I saw some bead-lock rims that look pretty sweet. ;) |
RE: Texas Bashers
bead locks are kinda over rated. they can slip sometimes and are a pain in the butt to put together

RE: Texas Bashers
Well Enoctis you are going to be in luck. I am in Iraq right now but when i get back home to FT Hood i am going to build something out on my land i have outside of post. I should be getting back around October from my 2 years over here in this place. And if you are interested in having a off base place to bash keep in touch man i plan on building a track and some nice kickers to launch off of if everything goes right it should come out pretty nice and if not we can head over to the skate park and hit that up in the skaters off season. Hope this helps out some man.

RE: Texas Bashers
I am actually surprised that noone is willing to bash, even racers. Most racers "bash" during their non-race times, well, they really go to the track and practice but that is part of bashing in my opinion.
You can ask your racer friends to go to the off-race days at the track and run the track with them. They might have perfecting their jumping skills and making tight turns flawlessly as their primary focus, but the pressure of racing is not there. |
