Well I figured I would update everybody here on whats going on, we have released a new video shows more than any video in the past. We have our patent filed, and are shipping off 2 nitrous units this week (One to Brian Skinner of RC Car Action Magazine, and one to a national drag racer (I am not sure he wants his name mentioned) anyway we are close to getting this project rockin! Check out the video here Video

RC nitrous? sounds awesome, yet expensive. The video is cool, but i can do that with my truck too. Rooler tests dont show any power. Put it on the ground.

And where do you get nitrous bottles that small? are they going to be 8oz co2 size? and how do you work the solenoids and metering valves from the radio?

we actually had no plans of releasing the video but decided to, the roller test was for our own testing. We will be doing more video in the next week or so. There is also more video at www.jagrc.com

Those rollers arent a real good road simulator. There is 0 resistance on those things so of course its going to wind out quickly. From what I see you babied it up to 2nd and floored the gas. Nitrous on an RC or any 2 stroke engine has lots and lots issues, never mind a 40,000 rpm 2 stroke. For one, you would never be able to add enough fuel to the engine to make up for the ultra lean mixture the juice creates. This is just oxygen after all. I'd like to hear how you are making this work?

u ever hear of fuel pumps? i dont see how you an run NO2 in a 2 stroke car that has the characteristics of a diesel. o well.

Yup, sure have. IMO, Its not exactly practical for the application. Switches, actuators, power supplies? Cant run that pump all the thime, like when the Nitrous isnt "on".

How is a fuel pump gonna help you with a gas? What ya need is a fogger system like the sneaky pete systems in cars. Lil shots of NoS for ya...

why?

yeah we already discussed this: search for nitrous or jagrc in general discussion. my question is why? i mean you could change your gear ratio, swap your engine, add a pipe, or how bout a two speed? if you have the FASTEST ENGINE the best gear ratio the best pipeand a two speed and you still want more speed you make me sick why take a chance on blowwin up your car i dont think setting up nitrous in your r/c is a breeze. by the way its not NOS nos is the company nitrous is the chemical

You need a fuel pump to supply additional fuel that offsets the wildly lean mixture it creates. Do a little research on how Nitrous works and you'll understand. I'm sure you realize that what works in a 4 stroke automotive Nitrous application has no bearing in a 2 stoke oil/fuel lubricated engine.
