2.5 Maxx ?????
 

I took the stock pipe off and noticed that there was a baffle in the pipe, now I know with the Savage they had one and every one was saying take it out right away for more performance now is this the same for the 2.5.

Here is a pic of what I am talking about it's the blue thing on the pipe.

Is what makes the right amount of back pressure so the tank pushes the right amount of fuel to the engine! Those people that where getting better performance were just leaning out the engines more then they should have!

i took the baffle out of my rustler before i upgraded to my o.s. with a traxxas tuned pipe (there is nothing in it it is totally hallow)and it ran great......that is until the conecting rod snapped LOL that is why i own an o.s. now! dont take it out, leans it way too much, not enough lubrication. :rainfro:
