im doing the same project ... used an auldey cyclone bike (leans into corners just like real bikes) and took the easy way out and used kyosho's rc unit for motorcycles ...
i want to upgrade the motor and dont want to spend big $$$ for the motor ...
im looking into using those small 3v motors used on tamiya mini 4wd's ... they probably cant drive the bike and mights not work with our speed controllers but man, these motors are faaasst ... kyosho miniz's (6v) were able to use this type of motor ... dont know how though

That bike was so damn fast it was hlarious. You slow down and lean into the corner real deep then pull trigger and try to keep the wheelie as long as you could before it flipped over backwards. I swear, watching it go across the parking lot, I dont think it was actually on the ground, lol, just skimming across the top of the pavement. Sweet.

Uh yeah guys, sorry bout that. I had to change the site around. I'm so into EVERYTHING r/c, I'm constantly shifting gears. It's always giant scale aerobatic planes and then something else. Right now it's r/c drifting. R.I.P. little dirtbike...
