some noob questions
 

hey guys i have been floating around here for a while now but still cant seem to get a straight answer to my questions. i have been wanting to get a nitro motorcycle for a while now and just recently found out that they even existed. every one says that the Thunder Tiger is the way to go if you are jsut starting out and that is the way it seems, i want to know if this thing is going to be able to grow with me. can i put a bigger mill it in and upgrade it to a point that it is gong to be a farly decent bike? are there many hop ups? the parts would be hard to find here in america as i have never seen a rc bike ever at any store i have ever been to. are there diferent shells to put on it if i dont like the ducati one?

The TT is entry level...as in, "ya get what ya pay for". I once bought a TT and immediately returned it. It seemed like a cheap, plastic toy to me...not a serious item. That being said, it does seem to get the job done for beginners. But, me personally, I'd rather spend a few hundred dollars more in the beginning to get something high quality. Do yourself a favor and get an OTO.:D

I was looking into buying the thunder tiger and saw you reveiw on it. I was just wondering if have bought a different motorcycle? If so what kind and what was its quality?

The OTO is a plug and play electric,not nitro.It's also only 1/8 scale which isn't so good on anything other than a race track or smooth surface.
The 1/5 bikes are more suited to both track and normal road running.

There are a choice of 1/5 after market body shells that you can paint to resemble anything you want.The RTR TT Ducati is a good choice for a first bike,but fitting a different engine can be awkward,it can be done though.

u mean kyosho HOR thats platic, the OTO is king to that, thunder tiger is 1/5 an of alloy construction
