AE Team MGT 8.0 new owner
Hello everyone Im an over the road commerical truck driver and got back into my passion of nitro trucks again. I bought a MGT 8.0 broke in the motor and got her tuned in great then she lifted the front end up and decided to hit a tree. "Ouch" i know right. Broken lower right front control arm and two broken shocks. Wont do that again lol. Everything eles is fine but this is going to get me to start tinkering with her and i have been out of the hobby for quite some time and im a little worried. Ive read some post and did my research but i was kinda hoping i could get someone to kinda take me under there wing and make some new friends so im not all alone in my hobby. There aint even a hobby store where i live and i have to order everything online while im over the road. People look at me driving this around and they just dont understand why i love rc so much. So any hints on upgrades and knowledge about the mgt 8.0 would be a great help. Thanks and have a good day.

Welcome back to nitro! My first suggestion would be to have this thread moved to the Associsted Monster Trucks forum - you're likely to get more buzz there. Secondly, RPM would be the go-to for nearly indestructible suspension arms (with a lifetime warranty to boot). Shocks - well, that I'm not sure on. There are probably better options, but I'm not an AE guy, so I'm not sure. I'm a Losi LST2 Guy. .
Its good to see another MN fellow here. Where abouts do ya live?

A moderator would have to move it. You can just make a new thread and they can remove this one if they feel the need.
If you're ever up in the cities for a length of time, shoot me a PM. It'd be cool to run some trucks with other guys. All of my RC buddies moved away.

That is one job I couldn't do. Being away from my family for that kind of time would be pretty rough. Especially for the money newer drivers get paid. My buddy drove truck for 6mos and only made $15k, and he was paid a higher rate because he was a veteran. Sad too, he liked driving.
