Prodigal R/C

I have been away from the hobby for 10+ years. I recently resurrected my RC10 GT from the Garage. I need to find a new air filter system. I would like recommendations as the OEM parts are no longer available. Also interested in shock oil WT’s for 2wd stadium truck.

Try to find a 1/10th scale MotorSaver air filter. This should work well, but it too is no longer in production. Traxxas makes a decent air filter for the Traxxas 2.5 and 3.3 engines. This would be another option. As for shock oils - I usually used 30-40wt oil and get a few different rates springs. Spring spacers are good to have as well as this allows you to further customize the spring rates.

I would suggest not using a paper element filter, but instead an oiled foam filter. More effective and less restrictive. Just my opinion though.
