I just got a used xxx-nt adam drake from a guy used. There has only been around 4 tanks run through it though. But when I turn the controller on I see the light come on then I try to turn the car on and the servo twitches a bit but then I press the throttle trigger or the steering wheel and nothing happens. I have changed the batterys and everything, what could be wrong?? Please help me, any suggestions welcome.

if you operate the TX and it doesnt move the servos, and nothing has gotten wet, than it has to be either power or frequency.
First - turn the TX off. then turn the rcvr on and off, see if the servos wiggle or anything moves. if so, then u know the batts are good. if not, then it is a batt problem. If the batts are ok, then its a crystal problem. u may need to replace a crystal. check the batts first though. could also be a wiring problem between the batt pack and the rcvr or switch harness.

Yes, the servo moves a little bit, not much though. And also on the reciever I cant even get the crystal out. But I guess I will take it to my lhs and ask them. Ok, well thanks, if you have any other sugg. let me know.

if u are getting "servo twitch" then u are getting power and that leads me to believe its a crystal issue. if u are unfamiliar with how crystals work, take it to ur lhs and have them take a look at it for u

Yes, I was messing with it earlier and finally noticed that the frequencies where different. So I went and bought a whole new radio and reciever and servos. Thanks guys.

No I didnt, the frequencies between the radio and reciever were different and he said it would cost 30 bucks for a new reciever or 50 for a whole set of everything.
