I recently purchased a duratrax overdrive st w/.17 eng. for my son for X-Mas..just wondering ..is this truck going to be ok for him or should i got something different....

well it will be alright. If you can get duratrax parts easy. Another good one to look at is the associated rc10gt rtr plus. It has everything except batteries and gas.

now your talking. that would be my choice to rc10gt. i just bought a rc10t4 kit for my five yaer old. hes young but thats the best way to learn. i can race it on the weekends also lol.

Anyone that has the overdrive ST - when they post they like the car. it is just not popular. It is usually looked at for beginners. i think he will be very happy.

Does your LHS actually have the parts or do they have to order them? My lhs doesn't carry any parts from Duratrax so the have to order it in and it takes 7 days. I don't need the parts though because I never broke anything......

The owner of the LHS is a friend of mine...he say that if he didnt carry a particular part he could and would get anything i needed in a couple of days and from then on start carrying it in stock...
