I am trying to decide which one to buy. I know the xtm x-cellerator goes about 50 how fast is the rct10 gt rtr. I also like the fact that the battey and rx are enclosed on the x-cellerator does the rct10 have an option for that. They seem very comparable the x-cellerator seems like a new version of the rct10 . I am also aware that parts for the rct10 are easier to find just want to buy best truck for my money. The rct10 rtr goes for $260 and so does the x-cellerator any suggestions

I picked up an X-Cellerator.. It's my first nitro rig.. I have done a lot with the E stadium trucks.. This x-cellerator was easy to start tune, and break in. It handled like a dream and is like a rocket!.. seems pretty durable too. For the price I think it comes loaded. No complaints at all here. I think just like all the other XTM rigs.. parts will be availible sooin, its a new rig...BTW a lot of parts are interchangeable I know that 2.2 losi whells fit for sure, so tires and wheels are an easy find
Goodluck hope you enjoy it!

You can't go wrong with either the RC10GT or the X-cellerator, but based on what I've seen at the track, the X-cellerator is the way to go. Unfortunately, the .18 is extremely large and definitely an outlaw, so if you plan to race, you'll have to buy a .12. Also, the tires are far below the quality of the rest of the truck and lack traction to deal with the power of the XTM .18. The RC10GT is certainly a great car and AE is considered much more dependable than XTM because of its reputation over the past three decades. The .15 in the RC10GT, I'm pretty sure, is ROAR legal being a stock motor, so replacing it won't be an immediate necessity if you do plan to race. Thus, the XTM is faster and more adrenaline inducing, but the RC10GT is no slouch whatsoever.
