just checked out the hobby store i that i order stuff from. they have the firestorm in stock for £178.79 [X(][X(]. amazing price. just i want to see this truck in a kit!!!

maybe i should have waited before getting the mt218ss and gotten the firestorm instead. Although I got the mt2 for less than the firestorm costs...should I trade my MT2 for a firestorm?

You're probably right about the tz .18 being too much for the drive train. I'll stay with the cvr .15.
I don't remember the guys from macon names but they use to race out of an extemely large trailer. Tomorrow
will be our first race of the season, I'll ask the guys what were the macon guys names. Where do you race?

i know you guys here this alot, but i am curious if this 2 speed will work in my mt2 with the stock t 15? do i need motor mounts or will it work without sliding the motor? thanks

i mostly drive on road. i understand that it is not good to jump with the 2 speed because you no longer have a slipper clutch. i am planning on ordering the cv-rx at the same time, which leads me to my next question, will the 2 speed work with the os motor? do you think i should just get the motor now and if thats not enough speed go ahead and get the 2 speed? how much bottom and top end will the cv rx give my mt2 over the stock t 15. can i use the stock exhaust? wow.....thats a lot of questions...thanks 46u

You would be better off saving up twice the money and buying a OS 18 CV-RX instead. Do you run off road or on? With the 2 speed you do away with ths slipper so off road it does not hold up as well.

well i bought a DX2 and a DX3 put the DX3 in my 18ss and the DX2 is for all the rest
i thiuhgt i would burn up my 2.5 quicker so i went ahead and got my boss to order a few race motors
witch i will decide witch one i want when they come in
the slipper im making for the 2 speed is going ................ well its going lol
if any of yall plan to up raidios get the spektrum tehre excellent as long as you take your time when setting them up

just after cleaning up my mt2 and other cars as weather is kinda werid at min prob wont get to run them for while between real strong winds snow hail stones rain everything lol.

The Spektrum is a very good radio been using one for about 9 months. As far as the 2 speed have never run one. I only run off road. As far as the OS 18 CV-RX over the T 15 is like the difference from night to day. I have not run any of my nitro in over a month. [:@]

Hey guys, I was running my MT today, things were going fine. As I was running a final tank through the car before I called it a day the car started moving by its own accord. The transmitter was in neutral but the car was moving (not fast, but not really slow either). The breaks stopped the car okay so it's not as if I had to run after it.
I haven't had a chance to look at the car yet, but I'm pretty sure there's a clutch problem. Maybe one of the springs has broken? If this is the case I'm not looking forward to fixing it as I've heard it's a tricky job to do.
Any thoughts on this? At first I thought it might have been an electrical problem as I was running the car through shallow puddles but the more I think of it, the more I think it is the clutch.

sounds like your idle needle (little black screw) is set to high. turn it clockwise to bring the rpm's down. this should sort your problem. have a look down the air intake there should be a 2mm gap. if there is more turn your trim down and set the idle needle so the rmp's are lower. i replied to your p.m just wondering if you recieved it. my internet has been playing up lately

i dinted and crushed my exhaust manifold will this reduce performance and i just stripped my spur gear with the t-15 will the savage spur gear fit the mt2

cheers well what happened is my pipe came lose and the front came off and dug into the ground causing the car to jolt to a stop and that force had bent the header but i managed to straighten it enough so the pipe would fit on itlol
