hey guy's can any one help me with the engine getting hot thing coz im tierd of 5 min's of playing and then it gets boiling and goes off is it the fuel coz im in 16% nitro 12% lubrication
or is it the mixture needle ?????????[:@]

how hot is it geting and what engine do you have? you could go to maybe 20% nitro, that should cool it down a little and give you more horse power.

it wouldnt be the fuel. You have your high speed needle to lean. Turn it 1/8 counterclockwise and run it some more. If its still too hot repeat the process again until you get the temps down.

higher nitro content is suposed to make the engine run cooler though

If he is in Saudi Arabia, he cannot get 20% - the highest allowed by law is 16%.

It might just be damn hot there too, lol. I would richen the HSN a good 1.4 turn and see what happens. Which truck is this, and did you properly break it in? An engine that wasnt broken in will produce the exact symptoms you mention.

Ahhh....but nitro and methanol is not a petroleum based product.

what is nitromethane? i know methanol is a type of alcohol. i always figured nitro was petrolem based. i guess i have something to tell guys that call me a petro head now.

"... Petroleum-Based Organic Solvent" means petroleum distillate that ... Compound" (VOC)
means any volatile compound of carbon except methane, carbon monoxide ... "

hey guys

my engine is thunder tiger 15 pro and i have a 1 inch wide hole in the wind sheild and i tried to open my engine to 4 turns but i think its the glow plug !!
and (nitroaddict) i dont think its not allowed till 16% they sell untill 25 % nitro
and my truck is a thunder tiger DT-10 RTR

and is there any on here that lives in saudi arabia coz its kind of boring to race with 1/1 cars lol

i wouldnt, go with silicone shock oil made for rc cars. 35-40 weight is a good place to start.
