Zach, i don't know why your even looking for opinions.. You know your gonna get the rustler no matter what anyone says, i don't know why u want a rustler when the mt is basicly designed to do exactly what u want but ok lol.

either truck you get, you will have a great time with... both the mt2 and the rustler are great trucks, but i think you could pick any hobby level rc car, and be glad you picked it...

Alright dude once again its up to you, these are 2 different trucks designed for 2 different purposes.. Pick what 1 suites your needs.

If you want to bash, hit jumps, and mess around like that.. You want the MT-2

If you want speed.. You want the Rustler

heh.... yea my uncles mt2 is pretty fun to bash with, hes had it for a few months and i think the only part he broke was a rear a-arm, which he got another for 5 bucks... i like 2wd though, i almost consider the mt2 a small monster truck..

Well the mt2 is not a monster truck infact not even close to a monster truck. Its more of a rc "truck" Its basically a st but not quite but not even close to a mt.

yea just get whatever you think you will be happiest with, if i went by what others said i would have gotton an rc10gt, but my friend has had bad luck with his, and i had already had experience with traxxas electric, and knew that they are a great company with lots os teck support, so i picked the rustler, and am glad i did... go to your lhs and see what they carry, at my hobby shop, they dont even carry the nitro rustlers, and since i didnt buy my car from them, they wouldnt even look at it when i brought it in....

Rustler sucks, i would never buy anything from traxxas.. Everything they make is for speed only, but it has nothing to sapport the speed.

Just to make the rustler as durable as a stock MT your gonna have to buy like 150orth of titanium parts for it.. And then its gonna be 4 pounds heavier and then your gonna have to buy a more powerfull engine witch your grand total would be around 300$... When you could just buy a mt and get a wasp 18 for 80$ and you would be going 50+ mph.

MT all the way
Seriously, you have no clue what you are talking about. Traxxas is a great company with great support (or shall I say sapport) for their products. And you say everything they make is for speed. Why don't you do a little research and take a look at the new Revo that's coming out, then tell me Traxxas makes products for speed only.

Second of all, there aren't even titanium parts for a NR. And you won't get many titanium parts for any truck for $150, titanium is fairly costly.

In all seriousness, you should really know more about a product before you attempt to bash it. You know absolutely nothing about the Nitro Rustler and the only reason you had your friend come on here is to try to get support for your truck. I really hope zach listens to nothing you say when he makes his decision.
