Today I found out its best to keep the wheel nuts tight with the Epic .18 for some strange reason I had a rear wheel shoot of the back of my truck and it rolled and bounced at a very high speed into the woods. This Epic engine has some serious power.

This thread is really starting to get buried. So I figure Ill show my most recent Modifications, Im almost finished with the suspension, All I need is the alloy rear suspension mounts which are back ordered. presently Id say that Im about 70% finished with more parts on the way. I figure by the time Im done the only stock parts are going to be the Wheels but then let me see New Era models carries the alunimum rims.........but at $100 for 4 of them I might be a little while on those.

patience my child, Rome wasnt built in a day. Titainium turnbuckles and RPM ball cups are in the master plan as are shiny mip CVDs, and quite a few other parts unless I lose interest and sell the thing on E-bay. The parts in transit are Front and rear alunimum bumpers, Stainless steel screws and last but not least a Titainium Chassis After these parts are installed Im going to work on the Turnbuckles and CVDS.

I figure Ill start with my project. This truck started as a stock Team RC10gt for years ago, The motor was an HPI .15 "cast head' While the power was adequate and the handling very good. I had to mess with it. I havent even started the motor for break in (hopefully tonight) So far the modified parts are on the truck
1) Epic .18 engine
2) MIP 4 in 1 clutch
3) RR steel Clutch and Spur gear
4) MIP Polished Stinger pipe
5)Polished Alunimum Shock tower
6) Motor saver? aircleaner
7)GPM theaded shocks
8)RPM receiverbox
9) polished Alunimum trans brace
Parts on hand but not installed
1) GPM blue alunimum trans case
2)RR steel diff gear
3) RR steel Idler gear
4) Mip heavyweight Flywheel (I think it might be to small for a starterbox Anybody know?)
Parts Im still waiting for
1) polished Alunimum front shock tower
Future parts
1) ?
I figure Ill "tweak with what I have so far. And add on as time goes by. I could use suggestions on front tire types I run on the grass and found the Proline Dirt Paw works well for the rear.
YO! wut are them rear tires!? they look like if they could tear some dirt in the air when ur driving on grass! wuts teh model / make i want some for meh future rc10gt!

And for the record, this is what you said "YO! wut are them rear tires!? they look like if they could tear some dirt in the air when ur driving on grass! wuts teh model / make i want some for meh future rc10gt!"

H4x0r sp34k or not, it makes no sense.

alright, cool. I don't know if I want to go to aluminum gearbox halves, but the plastic stockers are stripped and I don't like replacing broken stock parts with stock parts:P i tore up my LF and RR suspension arms during a really cool cartwheel, luckily my LHS had RPM's arms in stock[8D] in blue, of course.
thanks for the info!
