a good new engin?
ok, i have a traxxas N. sport w/ the trx pro .15 in it....i was wonderin what would be a good replacement engin that would provide more proformance than the .15? Also i would really like it if the engin was a drop in....i can also get the 2.5 mounts so thats not a problem if the engin fits the trx 2.5 mounts
i have been lookin really into the os .12 cv.... Good? Bad?power?

RE: a good new engin?
any of the os's will be good engines, considering its all we buy. they put out good power, are very easy to tune, and last a long time. if you want more rpm and thus more speed, get either an os .12 or .15. (theyre race legal too) if you dont plan on racing and you want more power, but maybe not the same rpm, get an os .18. i myself am getting the os .18 cv-rx for my evader. just make sure you pick up a slide carb and dont accidently get a rotary.
EDIT: the pro .15 is a slide carb like the 2.5, right?

the pro .15 is a rotary carb, just for the record.
I'd go .12CVR, you'd be amazed at what that little sucker will do.
oh yeah, and the .12CVR is FAR quicker than the .15CV. it's also a bit more money, but it's well worth it.

Might look into a OS .12tz, about 200 bucks and will run. The review on the engine made me go get one of them. Well worth the 200 bucks. If budget isnt that much, any OS .12 will do.
