Here yah go, should help out a bit http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...tler_views.htm
You shouldnt need a glow plug if it has the easy start system, if it doesnt have the easy start system then you will need a glow starter.

Check the wiring. Is everything hooked up?
Does the starter motor even try to turn it, or is there no juice to the motor?
Maybe the one way bearing in backwards?

to check if the bearings are on the right way, on the bottom of the chassi u will see the fly wheel try to turn it forwawd towards the front wheeles and if it don't take the glow plug out and check to see were the piston is if its at the top and u can't move the flywheel get a flat head screw driver and angle it on the flywheel using the chassi as leaverage ( remember u want to turn it towards the front so position it so u can turn the flywheel towards the front of the truck) then slowly turn the fly by usin the screw driver check down the plug hole to see were the piston is keep checking this till the piston is at the bottom of its stroke , u will be able to see when the piston is at the bottom. Then give it a sap she should fire up. if u can't get the fly to turn get the old hair dryer ( dan tought me this one ) and put it on as high as it will go and derect it down the glow plug hole get it really hot than try and turn the fly again this should work for shore
all ways make shore ur piston is a the bottom dead centre after use and to now when this its at the BDC get a permo marker and mark the fly wheel so u now and make shore u put the glow plug on nice and tight
hope this helps

try priming it by putting ur finger over the exhaust tip and try to start it then after about 2 secs take your finger away and keep trying to start it. then it should fire up once the fuel has reached the carb make shore the fuel is traverling to the carb with no probs. if u prime it for to long u will flood ur engine and u will have to take the glow plug out and turn ur ST up side down and try and start id get a cloth or something so fuel won't don't go every were. and make shore your glow plug is on nice and tight.
