scary and major problem

scary and major problem
ok so i got and evader 2 days ago and it worked fine until today. when i turn the car on and the the controller the steering box maes a winding noice and when i steer right it makes an awful cliking sound. whats wrong?

you need a new steering servo. you COULD replace the gears in the servo...but IMO it's not worth it.
A good upgrade would be a Futaba 3305. It also sounds like your servo saver was set a little tight

I didn't have to. I used the horn that came with the servo, just cut the tip of the horn with wire cutters or something. It doesn't really matter though.

if you force a Futaba-compatible servo horn over a Hitec servo you could easily strip the servo horn in an impact, thus ending your day until you find another servo horn. THAT is why you don't FORCE a servo horn on top of something where it doesn't belong.

I DON"T GOSH!!!!![&:] A horn came with the servo geez. I'm not stupid. Actually, a bunch of horns came with it and the horn for steering is on my truck.

you will have to use the single horn. But you will have to make it fit because it's too long to fit so you will have to cut it down shorter at the tip, look at my pics. i think the confusion here is thunderbirdjunkie thinks that STPWNNR is using the stock servo horn well he isn't. now i know this might not be true so please don't flame me
