Default Reveiver swap...??

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could use my 27MHz Futaba R142JE receiver (has BEC)
on my HPI Nitro MT-1, which currently uses the stock HPI RX-1. Could that combination work? Or should I just go out and buy a different receiver?

-Any insight appreciated.

Unless something has changed no it will not work. Being I do not do RTR I do not keep up much with the radios that come with them but HPI use to use Airtronics radios and I know from experience that Futaba and Airtronics are not compatible. Years ago I tried to use a Futaba AM 27 MHz TX with and HPI Airtronics AM 27 MHz receiver and it did not work using a matched set of crystals.

Like 46U mentioned it will not work . Futaba uses a negative shift freq. and Airtronics uses positive shift . You can use an Airtronics , JR , Hitec , or KO Propo receivers .
