ok this is quite hard to explain but basically when i push brake on the radio the brakes won't move. i don't know why though but i do know that if i loosen that little gold nut on the side of the carburettor the brakes work again (only problem with this is that the throttle arm thing wont grip and turn the carburettor) so i don't think its a problem with the servo or batteries. what could it be ? any ideas would be helpful.

maybe if you send a picure it will be easier to understand your problem, maybe also the spring is too tight. or the servo is badly adjusted on the servo horn.

ok so i will probably buy a new spring some time but at the moment im just using it without brakes lol. the problem is that last week i drove it into a huge puddle and it was in there for half a minute or so after i dried out the reciever and things i managed to get it working again but now the car will work up to 3/4 throttle but when i hit the full throttle mark it just stalls. i dont know why? i will retune it anyway but i do not see how water could of affected the engine. any ideas would be really helpful thanks.

yeah retune anyway. nbut yeah maybe you need a new servo? disconnect the carbie from the servo and test to se if it turns as far as it shoukd not connected. if so then theres and issue with teh linkage/servo power. if not new servo is the go prolly.
