or your getting too much fuel, if you harpin on it for a bit, pull the glow plug and check it, if that isnt the case richen it a tad, also make sure all of your bolts are tight, I have heard of a few peoples engine bolts being loose. Plus the video I posted if you notice I have to bring my throttle trim up a tad just to get it started then I can drop it.
hopefully that will help a little bit, Oh and if it is flooding then lean it out a small bit

clutch bells, and as it stands right now with half a gal through mine i rarely make any major changes to my setup
but the clutch bells are a huge difference in speed/accel. Definatly the first I would get for that, otherwise spend the money for the rotostart setup

Depends on what you want, lowend or high end. I have the 21 tooth on right now which brings it over 40 mph but it still can make a few donuts, and that is the highest tooth you can go right now

RE: hpi firestorm
After a radio failure my firestorm hit a curb head on at full speed. Bent the upper deck to amazing shapes (pics included) and shattered the front bulkhead. £20.98 to repair! Everything else survived without damage.
I think it's an amazing piece of kit and would recommend it to anybody. The tuning on the G3.0 engine is very fine but as long as you remember that it's a piece of cake.

Also, if you are going to run your firestorm in wet conditions the reciever box and battery box are not watertight and seem to hold water quite happily.

Have had my Firestorm for about 4 months now and love it. It's fast and comes out of the corners like a bear. A few weeks back raced against a couple of rc10's and smoked them. So far it's been a really good truck..............
