New Filter Help

i just recently brought a new filter as you can se in my pic but i was warned about it recking my engine (which i dont want to hapen)
so i was wondering how i can use this filter safely
i thought about puting in the foam from my stock filter does any one now if this will be fine

Tighten that screw-collar as much as you can (but not retared that you somehow start deforming your carb opening) and hope that the rubber grommet doesn't flop around and bounce the filter head on your engine's cooling head and you'll be fine.

Holy air filter Batman!
Just make sure it won't come off. I also wouldn't reccommend running in any dusty conditions at all. That type of filter will not trap nearly as fine of particles that a well oiled foam filter will. Secondly you can't clean it so when it gets dirty, it will be time to replace it.
