I believe that they around the same. Sure the firestorm has a .18 but for a .15 the GT2 has plenty of power. I use mine for bashing and have only broken the a-arm. And that was when i hit the curb at full speed. I took the restrictor out too and have had no problems. It gave it a huge power boost though!!

Oh man, I hit a tree at wot also, but I was driving around in a forest, what do you expect. I had no damage, engine started right back up. Amazing I know, The reason, i think, was aluminum bumpers and platstic mounts. Alu. bumpers for durability and plastic mounts for forgivability and shock absorbtion. It was on my S-Maxx basher i have had for 2 years. I am thinking about getting a firestorm or a rc10gt2 or a jato. I was leaning toward firestorm just to try something other than traxxas. By the way integey has terrible customer service, and poor durability. Their shocks bend like nobodys business.

i have a gt2 and i love it. but i advise u to get a firestrom because the gt2 is not that durable and u would need to pay extra money for hop ups. the firestrom from what i hear is very durable.

what ever you do don't get a nitro sport they are tough as nails, but the pro .15 is a horrible little deamon of a motor. mine has only run right 3 times, and that is with good tuning. now i want the hpi firestorm lol.
