hi im new to nitro RC cars and i just bought a hpi firestorm, and the second time i have taken it out it started to whistle, is this normal? and if it isnt what do i do to fix it?

Could you explain the whistle a bit more??There could be a piece of grass or twig rubbing against the flywheel or clutch bell.

the whistle isnt realy high pitched, its more soft. i dont know how else to describe it

Probably nothing to worry about....Do you have an idea what makes it??

it probably your clutch bell and spur gear. If they are too tight there will be a sort of a whistling sound. I would check to see how tight they are. you manual will tell you how to set up you gear mesh.
