LOL, no. The xxx-nt is a racing vehicle, not a speed demon.

If you want top speed, get an onroad car.

Off road and above 50 mph don't go together.. bumps=flips=broken parts.. man get an on-road

Look, I dont know alot about small block enignes. If you both really want soemthing fast then get a 1/8 buggy, then you will have unlimited engine choices from $100-$550. Plus, 1/10 stadium trucks are DEAD.

discouraging words for the 1/10 stadium truck enthusiast to hear but unfortunately with the growing popularity of the slash, slayer and the rc8sc the stadium arena hs found a new favorite. as for 60+mph in a xxxnt, im in cali and have a xxxnt sport in texas. when i get my hands on it again im going to put a mamba max, 9000kv motor in it with a 3 cell lipo(i know im going to blow the motor with a 3 cell and i dont care/ havent yet so get off my back) battery in it. that setup with proper gearing will hit over 100mph, granted the dynamics of the truck could handle it. would take a bit of modification unless theres a conversion for it. then it'd be bolt on! unless you need the thrill of an exhaust you can get better/smoother performance out of an electric. not to mention a whole lot less maintanance. just plug and play. haha im currently in the midst of converting all my nitro vehicles (was a major nitro freak until i went castle creations) to electric. you wont be sorry. unless like i said you like the sound of an exhaust, my savage will stay nitro but i think thats it.

If your going 60mph in a xxx-nt offroad, you will have no control over it. Get a 1/8 buggy and you will be much happier. Like I said, gas trucks are DEAD.

if the guy wanted to set up a 60 mph buggy he'd be posting in the buggy forum but he's talking about his xxxnt. as for mounting a brushless set-up you'd have to jimmy-rig an electric spur gear where your nitro spur gear is at(different pitch). once you do that you can run a brushless electric setup, as for handling the speed you can set-up wings on the fron and rear as well as tune your suspension. you can do it. brushless is the way to go.

you can go verry fast with a xxxnt stock with the 18t clutch bell you can get close to 45 the biggest cb losi has is a 20 but you can get a ae 22t witch is 28% bigger then the stock 18 that is almost 15 mph put in a .12tz witch revs about 40ks vs the mach .15 about 30ks i think you can get to 60 give or take my xxxnt with a .18tz and a 20t cb flys but any car at 60 + hits anything something with break but you can do it .
