RPMparts are always a good thing. If your going to do a lot of off roading, look into some bigger tires to give it better ground clearance. A roll cage is something to look into to (not needed, but if you like that look... go for it). Change out the shock oil. Most companies stick junk weight in there, put a stronger weight in there. It will help out when your hitting rough terrain. If your looking at off road more than anything, you might wanna consider an extra air filter. Change it frequently... It will save you some ching in the long run...

I have 3 of them so far in my RC's and they are great for the cash
