xtm x-c all the way!!!!!!!!! i'm gonna get one soon and its gonna be awesome
plus the rustler($299) is like $100 more than the x-c ($199 at hobby people):D
the rustler is only good for drag racing (no handling capabilities-- if you saw the tires, you'd know) my friend has one and i can smoke him with a brushless motor in my ae t4

oh and the radio in the rustler sucks! i'm a traxxas fan too, but i hate their radios--it doesn't even have dual rate[sm=thumbs_down.gif]

so, definetly get the x-cellerator

Depends on your LHS supporting parts. My LHS has XTM's but doesnt stock much for parts coz they dont sell in our area.
For power, speed and all out bashing Rustler hands down, for possible racing, maybe the XTM, but they are an old design but can still be competitive with some upgrades. The motor on the XTM is sad in the power department, but it handles quite nicely. Ball diffs tend to cause alot of ppl grief and can be tricky to tune, where the Rustler is a gear diff and needs no tuning, just add fuel and go.

From my experiance with Traxxas, Id go with the Rusty without a second thought. With the ball diff in the XTM, I wouldnt buy one unless you know how to adjust and fine tune the diff setting. Let the flame war begin.

If you may want to enter a race then x-cell. If you just want to go fast and bash, rusty.

yeah i find the rusty to be a good car, and it is raceable, needs some home mods but its doable. XC is a ood car too, either is fine.
