are you sure the glow starter is charged or has a fresh battery? Does it actually turn over or does it sound like the ez start is running but its turning the motor over? If thats the case then you oneyway bearing is slipping. I had that happen to me when i had a rustler. Have you tried starting it while giving it a little throttle? Your idle adjustment screw might need adjustment. Try and see if any of those things work.

what is the one way bearing and where can i locate it? it does turn over but when primed itwill not suck fuel into the carbuerator. what should i do for that? it has an aftermarke 360 stinger exhuast system by mip.

when it is primed no fuel will go to the carbuerator. what should i do about that? it has an after market exhaust system on it if that makes any differenc. the engine will turn over just not start.

well if the engine is turning over than its not the easy start. You may have to prime it before you try and start it. Just put your finger over the stinger exhaust and watch the fuel go to your carburetor. Once its at the carb stop and try to start your engine normally.

thats the thing when i cover the exhaust pipe end it will not make fuel go to the carbuerator could it be the fuel tubing for it? the only way i can get fuel into the carbuerator is if i take the tube out and blow through it with my mouth>

you might want to check the fuel tubing for pin hole leaks or just replace the tubing all together(stock fuel tubing is never that good). Or your gas tank could have some air leaks. Other than that im not really sure what could be wrong. Hope this helps.

I had the EXACT problem. Try seeing if you can press down on the fuel tank lid while priming it (the finger-over-exhaust tip-way). The spring on the lid may be worn out and not making a good enough seal. I had to get a new lid, spring, and seal (the only way to get the spring is to get all that stuff in a pack) and it primed. However, a little while later, I had the same problem. This time it was that my stock plastic pipe had a leak between the pipe and the coupler.

So, try pushing down on the fuel tank lid while priming (you may need a third helping hand), and, if that doesn't work, try checking that the exhaust coupler is all sealed well and that the 360 exhaust manifold is tight against the engine. Also try checking the fuel line, like "nitroguy123" said. Good luck.

Hey,
I have had quite a bit of experience with the Trx-15 pro. The truth be told it sounds like your down on compression. If the engine doesn't seal tight enough to make proper vacum as the piston travels downward it is impossible for it to suck fuel into the carburetor especially at a constant rate.

Generally when this starts to happen your truck will only use so much of a tank of gas then die, fuel won't go to the carb even if you hold you finger over the pipe, the engine becomes hard to start and may begin to hesitate.

Think back, how many gallons of fuel have you ran through this motor? Was it broken in properly? How hard a life has this motor had?

The best way to tell is to disassemble your engine (Don't get scared, its easy) Simply take the head bolts loose and pull off the head (don't loose the shims) then pull the 4 bolts out of the starter cover or back plate (don't tear the clear gasket). Then reach in and disconnect you connecting rod from the crank. At this point see if you can push your piston to the top of the sleeve or out of the sleeve, if you can do either its time to rebuild (sorry). The piston should stop about 3/16 of and inch or so before ever getting to the top of the sleeve.

I been there and know what your going through.......

clean the base of the carb and where it seats in the block real good with nitro cleaner... get your self some red high temp RTV silicone, put a thin layer on the base of the carb around the O ring. Insert back in the block and tighten the keeper nut pictured here

if it still comes loose you can switch the keeper stud around like so
