Well this is a lil differnt. my spur gear is stripped, but only in 1 spot the rest is a lil bare but this 1 spot is done, every spur that i strip is like this, is this normal? or is the mesh not set right?--traxxas nitro sport-graphite spur or plastic or some other cheap material.

RE: Spur gear.

The only time I have seen that happen is when I got a rock caught between the spur gear and the frame the spur gear got all dented in that spot.

the spur is lasting about 50 runs mabey 20 hard runs, do i need to bust out the paper thingy? or is there no need to be busting out and paper?

my experience when the mess is too far away, it eats the spur gear up entirely. I think if its too close you will end up overworking your clutch bearing.

don;t know what kind of car u have, wheather it is 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel...but try getting the aluminum rear bulk head for ur car.......my car was doing the same thing and it wasn;t my motor moving but my whole tranny shifting making the mesh to far apart...... ;)
