Antenna
 

I wanna take a metal telescoping antenna and put it on my car for the reciver antenna. Would this work or would i get to much interfernence or some other negative techinical mumbo jumbo.

i'm sure it would work, you would need to place an insulator at the botom to make sure it does not come in contact with any metal which would cause interference. i dont see the point though, you flip your truck and it will probably take out half your body and snap teh antenna while doing so.

get a screw that threads into the bottom of the antenna. then get a peice of rubber and put that between the screw, antenna, and chassis(drill hole into chassis). then you wil have to sand a small part of the antenna and solder the antenna wire to it. then make sure to cover any bare wires. i dont see why you would want to do this though, wont be much better, and if you flip the car, there goes the $10 antenna.
