Rustler Wheelies?
I have a nitro rustler with the trx. 15 pro. I tighten the slipper all the way down, the rear shocks are medium, front shocks are soft, and I can't get it to wheelie. What can I do to make it wheelie on the dirt, grass, or pavement?

RE: Rustler Wheelies?
You can't really make the Pro 15 Rustler do wheelies, it just doesn't have enough power. Pretty much the only way to do wheelies is if you lean it A LOT, so much that it would mess up your engine. I have a Pro 15 Rustler, but I got a Fantom .12 engine and an Associated low end pipe for it. I can't pop wheelies on asphalt 'cause my street tires are too worn, but I pop wheelies on dirt all over the place when I don't even mean to. For dirt, I use Edges on the front and Step Pins on the back.

Also, I would think that you can try to shorten the gearing (smaller clutch bell, larger spur gear). It may or may not be enough to help you.
If you tightened the slipper clutch in all the way, I would recommend changing it back to normal soon. Tightening the slipper clutch a ton is a good way to strip spur gears. |
RE: Rustler Wheelies?
I could do it with my Electric STOCK rusty with the crappy stinger motor.... it did wheelies accross my lawn... like the guy said earlier, smaller clutch bigger spur...
