RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
It is one heck of an engine, so you shouldn't have any problem with it.

RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
Well your stocker has a rotary carb., and that one has a slide carb so you will need to build a new linkage setup that rotates the the pull angle by 90deg. It also has a rear exhaust, your stocker has side exhaust with a rectangle port rather than a round header port. Oh yeah, also you will need a starter-box or a hand-starter with a donut adapter to start it (and that is if you have the flywheel hole in the chassis, I know your stocker was roto-start)......
For the same price at Stormer, you can get the Epic .18 that makes more power with the same RPMs and should be a bolt in...... https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...t.pl?pn=EP1800 1.8 HP 39,000 RPM |
RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
Even if you don't go with the Epic, look for one with same layout for the least amount of stress during the swap....
|
RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
oh yeh i forgot about that but the epic is to powerful it will tear up my differentials in stuff if i wanted that i'd have to change all of that stuff and i dont feel like doin that now

RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
I run it in a Tower ST-15 and it hasn't torn up anything in the drivelin e so far. I don't think you'd have much of a problem with it, that HPI is tough.

RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
oh well thats what someone told me
|
RE: CHECK THIS OUT!!!
Bah, if my ST-15 can handle it I KNOW your mt2 can. My Savage is tough as nails and I would expect your stadium truck to follow that lineage. Go with the Epic, or something similar, the 4wd already eats up a bit of your speed..... My truck is freakin' scary fast... With the suspension set to the lowest point (I ditched those short-ass a-arms for RC10 arms) and shocks set the softest, and switching from a 15tooth CB up to an 18tooth, my truck still wheelies over backwards on pavement. It is very nice.
