Bad info. What did I say before about this?

Depending on how he has it setup, there is a fair chance you may also have to sawp flywheels and engine mounts.... I ran into this when I first got my GT...

Another alternative is a hand-starter (like for a plane) with a rubber donut adapter that you use to "bump" the flywheel from the bottom of the chassis. You can get both for just under 25 bucks from Tower...

why woul you need to change the flywheel? and the engine mounts why that too?

i know if it has a backplate on it now you will probably need new crankshaft because there is a little numb that the pullstart catchs to turn it over but a bump starter like frost said would probably be your best bet they are relativly inexpensive

I don't know why they made it like that other than engine position.... It's different than EVERY other ST that I have direct experience with... God now that I think back they may even have a pull-start and a non-pullstart chassis...
