pull start conversion
ok i got a rc10gt off the net a few days ago and it is setup a starter box. want to convert it to a pull start. what do i need? back plate and pull start?

ORIGINAL: Nitro Rustler Racer ya thats what you need Depending on how he has it setup, there is a fair chance you may also have to sawp flywheels and engine mounts.... I ran into this when I first got my GT... Another alternative is a hand-starter (like for a plane) with a rubber donut adapter that you use to "bump" the flywheel from the bottom of the chassis. You can get both for just under 25 bucks from Tower... |

why woul you need to change the flywheel? and the engine mounts why that too?

i know if it has a backplate on it now you will probably need new crankshaft because there is a little numb that the pullstart catchs to turn it over but a bump starter like frost said would probably be your best bet they are relativly inexpensive

but doesn that back plate that doesnt have rod have a place for that little thing sticking out for the rod connection?

lol, on a rusty the pull start hangs on the border of the chasis
