Okay im about to ask some basic questions.
 

I have an electric truck, My Dad (CEO) has bought me an RC10GT factory pluss rtr and hes going to let me pick out all the hopups, and make it all aluminum, heres the catch! he wont help me with anything but buying me the parts... Woohoo but not woohoo, he wont buy the parts if I dont know what i need and he's going to make me explain to him why.
Im not familer with parts on a nitro truck, in other words im trying to make it all aluminum,meaning no stock plastics. so far I know only of these and what they do:

A-Arms - Supports Shocks, Connects chassis to wheels
Shock towers R/F supports shocks
brake disk - stops the truck
shock mounts - mounts the shocks to the chassis?
nose tube braces
servo on-off switch
r/f bumber
engine
tranny
clutch
wheels
tires
f/r hub set
turnbuckles
(2) servos - steering/throtle
servo arms -(long metal rods)
clutch bell
drive train

these are the basics that i need ot5 know how they work and what attack to them, im downloading an manual as I type.

If you already have it then read through the manual.. it shows everything better than anyone here could begin to explain it.

yes i just printed 8 pages that has the part #s then a pdf file with pictures an item #s

just tell him that everypart can break when you jump lol

you brobely might want a role cage tell him if you flip over you car body wont get hurt much

get some RPM a-arms and stuff, they cheap, plus they are garuanteed not to break, if you break them you get new ones for free

**** are you for real? RPM? so if I jump my dads F250 and break all the A-Arms I get 4 for free?
