either one of these motors work on my rustler. was gonna just replace the .15 pro thats in it but these are roughly the same price. didn't make any sence not to go with more power. that's if they fit

i have a rusty too and for christmas im getting the OS .18 CV-R i have heard good things about it and i think OS has always made good engines so i went with the OS

what kind of speeds are you getting out that engine? if the rusty already does 50mph with the 2.5 in it what's it gonna do with a .18? or does it just give it alot more torque and not really a noticeable top speed difference.

I swapped out the pro .15 for an OS cvx 15. I was glad I did until it started frying my idler gear pins. Has anybody else had that happen? I've tried different pins, made out of different materials and nothing seems to hold up. Is there an aftermarket one that would work or should I just get a stronger gearbox off of something else?

the 18 gives loads more torque that u can use and top speed will be similar but much more accessible, or gearing the truck up will give u more top end, not that u should need it really....
