on the rustler is the pipe hitting the body on mine it pushing the body out about 3/8 inch i have to flex the front body mounts to get the body posts to line up also is something warped on the truck the truck hasn't been wrecked new out of the box

Yea the same thing happened to my friends rusty and Mine. I know it makes no difference on the proformance of the car. So I think nothings really wrong with it so just let it go.

i think it will melt the body and it hurts the looks of it the side sticks way out

it wont melt the shell, the pipe on the side of my xtr3e hits the shell and has not melted it or the paint

You can trim the body till it dont hit. Other than that it should be fine...:D:D:D

I drive my car plenty lean. My pipe gets hot and nothing happens. No melting leave it and dont worry.

Just to warn you. I wouldn't run lean....my engine blew up in my RC10GT when i kept running lean...Unless you have the money to repair it...
